Listen here to Shane's 'Access Augusta' Podcast Series during Masters Week

The ambition with these podcast interviews at the 2017 Masters is to, quite simply, sit down with some of the fascinating characters of world golf here at Augusta National; press record, have a good old chat, press stop and then upload. No jingles; no music beds; no frills; just engaging (hopefully) and good golf chat.

Episode 1: Sir Nick Faldo

Shane talks all things Augusta with 3 time Masters Champion, Sir Nick Faldo, on the back lawn, ahead of the Champions Dinner on Tuesday at the Masters 2017.

Episode 3: Alistair Johnston

CNN Golf Host, Shane O'Donoghue sits down with IMG Vice Chairman, and longtime Chairman of Arnold Palmer Enterprises on the opening day of the 2017 Masters Tournament, just after the Ceremonial opening tee shots were hit by the two remaining members of the "Big 3" of world golf, Gary Player and Jack Nicklaus. Arnold Palmer passed away in September, 2016. He was a four-time winner of the Masters and beloved figure at Augusta National. He had been ever-present figure at the Masters for over 60 years. Other than his family, few knew Mr.Palmer better, than Alistair Johnston.

Episode 4: Sandy Lyle & Esteban Toledo

Esteban Toledo became the first Mexican to win a Champions Tour event in 2013. He has now won 4 titles. Despite this late blooming success and a prior career on both the PGA Tour and Web.Com Tour, Toledo had always dreamt of teeing it up in the Masters. As the likelihood of this dream began to fade, he made it known last year, that he would happily caddy, just to feel that sensation, inside the ropes.

European golfing legend, and good friend, Sandy Lyle made Toledo's dream come true in 2016. On moving day, at the 2017 Masters, CNN's golf host, Shane O'Donoghue, sat down with both men to discuss their second Masters together, their friendship, the experience of working together and some memorable moments from Sandy's outstanding win at the Masters in 1988.

Epsiode 5: 1991 Masters Champion Ian Woosnam

CNN Golf host, Shane O'Donoghue, sits down with 1991 Masters Champion, Ian Woosnam alongside his best friend and fellow Tour Player, David J Russell. We are also joined by Woosie's longtime manager, David Barlow. Woosie's pals, Peter Woodhouse and Shane Johnson also sit with us, ahead of lunch, and the 3rd round of the 2017 Masters Tournament. I hope you enjoy the chat. Woosie got quite emotional toward the end, as we celebrated his induction into the World Golf Hall of Fame later this year. A life well played. What an icon of European and World golf.

Episode 6: Dan Jenkins, Golf Digest

He is a legendry writer and it was my pleasure to talk to a hero, Dan Jenkins, before the final round at the 2017 Masters Tournament here at Augusta National.

Episode 7: The Garside

One of the UK's top, all-round sports journalists; Kevin Garside, the Chief Sports Correspondent for I Newspapers, formerly the Independent, takes a few moments from his busy schedule here at the Masters Tournament, to talk about the final round shootout ahead, here at Augusta National.
